Inspired by the Payette Lake Winter Games of 1924, McCall’s Winter Carnival celebrates its 58th year of fireworks, parades, live music and dozens of dazzling sculptures!
Drawing upwards of 60,000 people, this year’s Winter Carnival is moving to the last weekend in February in 2024 and beyond! The McCall Area Chamber of Commerce consolidated the Carnival into a single weekend (three-day event) which kicks off in downtown McCall on Friday, February 23, 2024.
This year’s theme, Color Outside the Lines, pays tribute to both creativity and community, while also honoring the McCall area’s dedicated educators. The unwavering presence and commitment to excellence exhibited by our cherished school faculty members are what truly set the West Central Mountain region apart.
