Soft to the Toes!
New carpet was installed in eight homes this spring. We replaced bedroom carpet in Cedar homes 15/16, and Birch homes 7/8. Aspen homes 11-14 also received carpet in the bedrooms as well as on the stairs and in the upstairs loft. We are pleased to say all eighteen homes have new carpets and hardwood flooring in all areas in the last couple of years – a major financial commitment!
Gleaming Fresh Paint – Inside and Out!
Homes 13-16 received interior paint while the exterior of homes 19/20 and the detached garages for 19/20 were also professionally painted – a huge task we like to complete every 6-7 years! During this project our maintenance team touched up exterior paint in various areas around the property.
Spring Cleaning – Our list is longer than yours!
Each home has been thoroughly deep cleaned by the housekeeping team and professional carpet cleaning occurred throughout the homes. Kitchen supplies and linen inventories were restocked as needed – just ask for any items you need to make your stay extra special!
The maintenance team also stayed busy completing their spring preventative maintenance in the homes as well as sprucing up the grounds and landscaping around Hearthstone. Some bushes and shrubs did not survive McCall’s long and hard winter and were removed and replaced as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping the Hearthstone landscaping in the same quality condition as the homes.

Twenty two percent (22%) of your annual assessment is dedicated to Capital Reserves and used, with approval from the Board of Directors, to fund all of these refurbishment projects and more, ensuring Hearthstone’s reputation as a well-cared for property!
